Endurance Sports Coaching Newsletter 1
Welcome to the first Endurance Sports Coaching newsletter. This will be an infrequent newsletter which shares information about what's happening at Endurance Sports Coaching, thoughts and training tips from the world of triathlon and any offers you might find beneficial from us our chosen partners. The intention is to enrich your inbox, not fill it with junk! Anyway, this newsletter includes our February training camp, gifts options for Christmas, a message from Muscuro (our Soft Tissue Therapy partner) and some top tips from Twitter. We hope you enjoy it!
And we're off!! - Training in sunny Spain in February! We're off to South East Spain again for a week of quality coaching and training from 17-24 February 2018. If you fancy joining us in February, please check it out on the new website here.
New ESC Partner: Muscuro Soft Tissue Therapy
Eva is a BTEC Level 5 qualified Soft Tissue Therapist and Member of the Institute for Soft and Remedial Massage. She is also an Anatomy in Motion (AIM) practitioner and her approach to treatment is highly holistic looking at the body as a whole unit rather than at individual body parts. She uses both movement and couch-based treatments with her clients. Her particular interest is in exercise rehabilitation as well as strength and conditioning. Eva works in central Bristol and at Optimus Clinic in Thornbury with competitive rates. If you want to know more, visit her website or just get in touch. P.S. Still looking for a Christmas present? Muscuro offers gift vouchers too.
Top Tips from Twitter
Twitter is a minefield of information, thoughts and opinions. How do you separate out what is worth reading? Well, we'll try to help you out by suggesting a few good articles, threads and people to follow. This month try:
Dave Collins - Scientific discussion around the best way to learn skills and develop 'Talent'
John Kiely - Fantastic article on challenging thinking around periodisation
UK Tri Chat - Good community sharing all your thoughts, questions and many goings on in triathlon.
If you'd like to know more about Andy's philosophy, check out his series of blogs regarding his way of thinking and how this feeds into his coaching style. There is plenty more to come with thoughts and ideas about how to train for your best result.
Christmas Gift Ideas
Short of a few ideas for Christmas presents?
Endurance Sports Coaching can provide you with gift vouchers to cover any of our services. For more information on vouchers, please see the coaching page of the website.
